Release Fear of Abandonment is a guided auditory journey designed to help you let go of attachment related anxiety, specifically related to worries around being abandoned.

Many people with anxious attachment find that they get stressed out when dealing with someone else’s withdrawal, separation, distancing, or other behavior that can sometimes feel like abandonment or loss. They may expect relationships not to go well, or anticipate that the other person will leave them. Even something simple like waiting for a text message or an email can feel stressful when it triggers fears of abandonment in the attachment system, and can activate the fight/flight/freeze response. This is because at one time when we were babies, being abandoned by a caregiver was literally a life or death situation. Now a delay in someone getting back to us might just mean they are busy or trying to make a decision, but the attachment system reacts as if it’s an emergency situation and responds accordingly, dosing us with fight or flight chemicals. This kind of outdated programming can be very stressful, but the good news is that we can take steps to calm our over-active attachment system. Research shows that relaxation and hypnosis are good for anxiety and calming the nervous system, and this session is specially designed to help your attachment system calm down so that you can feel more relaxed in dating and relationships.
